what kind of impact does advertisements have on children

It would depend on the content of the add. Children r young & has only been here for a short time so they will believe what they. So if its an possitive add like '' cemercial showing a child doing homework & then it shows the same child become president, a doctor, or anything that children idolize children will believe that if they do their homework they can do anything they want''.but if its somthing like a tabaco or beer add children might think ''hmm l wonder what it taste like''. So it would completly depend on the content of the add

Advertising has a very profound (and not very good) impact on children. My seven year old is very influenced by the ads he sees, whether it is an ad targeted towards kids or an ad targeted to adults. He thinks he needs Ambien because he has a hard time falling asleep at night. He thinks we all need Cialis because then we can be ready to go (or whatever it is they say in their ad - he does not interpret it as sexual). He thinks l should buy that expandable organizer thing they advertise because l can keep all my things organized & fit in two bottles of water & an umbrella. He wants every toy he sees on tv. He can spout of advertising slogans & jingles like u would not believe. It is horrible.
