l offer a professional, affordable web design service but have very little custom from the internet. l know l need to get the word out more but the people who are visiting are just not contacting me, why not?

1. Anything with 'king' in it puts people off as you sound like an up yourself idiot

1. Your website is great, l love the colours & the layout & it looks very professional & well thought out but the name is off putting, it does not sound professional & sounds more like one of those scam/spam sites.

2. People hate pop ups, especially those that pop up over & over. Get rid of it!

3. Your choices in portfolio r not very thrilling, all apart from the tattoo artist one r all pretty bog standard, ones that u would normally associate with a template from freewebs. l look at yours & do not see the same commitment to excellence there.

Maybe u could do some more interesting - something more along the standard of ur own website as portfolio pieces. If l was looking for a website designer i'd choose u simply on ur wown website design. Why can not that same talent be seen in the portfolio pieces??

When you create your website, you will need to list keywords that will enable your website to appear on the top 10 results of a google search. Choose a simple word which many people type in.

There r two problems u r facing:

1) How to get traffic to ur website

2) How to turn the traffic u get into leads, prospects or buyers

l recently answered question 1 for someone else, so u can check that answer in my profile.

As for question 2 goes, l believe u should split test ur home page as it is with a squeeze page type landing page.

Take the time to create a killer squeeze page that does not give the visitor too many options. Right now if l go to ur site l have the option to look at ur services & prices, ur Portfolio, ur freebies, request a quote & more. The sole purpose of ur landing page should be to capture the visitors name & email address so that u can follow up with that lead & have a chance to turn them into ur customers.

Instead of inviting people out for coffee (very localized), u could offer a free 1 on 1 30 minute consultation via chat or skype. that makes it global. The only thing ur visitor would have to do is enter their name & email address & schedule it.

Remember it is not only of how much traffic u get to ur page, but what u do with that traffic that really counts.

Your own site looks good ur portfolio not so good. Your prices r very cheap which l think would raise suspicions. A site l am involved with has been built by designers & so far we have paid 22K approx & there will be more to pay soon.

You get what u pay for & though it is great that u can be affordable maybe u r seen as 'cheap' by those who do actually want a site built for them.

We did a lot of research before going with the group we chose & they were all very even on price so it did not become a deciding factor.

l love the content & the layout. The Biz has potential.

Problem - there message is not clear & eye grabbing. When l first visited it l was attracted to the 'freebies' part.

Price - imporatant people want to pay for the good they know theyl get - raise the price.
If ur main service is giving people affordable web design make that clearer on the first page. And all the other bits of goodies r smaller. or on the bottom page at least. Make clearer & simple what u want people to be attracted to the most. Reduce the italics. That goes at the end. of the service you're talking about.
