l have to write a report on the macro-environmental factors which would affect a pretend theme park to be built. How would social/cultural factors affect the theme park? People are living longer and the birth rate is decreasing but l cant see how this would affect the theme park?

If the birth rate is decreasing, there will be less youngsters coming to the park in the years to come. So you will also need to provide rides for a more mature population ie. ones that are not as scary.

Seniors like entertainment versus rides. A concert hall venue or multiple concert halls for music, comedy, & dance events. Build in a people mover system to move tired old bodies around the park versus the paths that r there today.
Your food concessions would need to take into account the low sodium, low fat diets that older people have to maintain. Incorporate a hotel into the park. Seniors have more disposable income than younger folks. If u can get them to stay for one night that is 3 meals instead of 1 or 2. Go for a casino at the hotel too while you're at it. l live near Atlantic City & older folks go there by the busload. You will still need rides for the kids, rides older people wo not ride. Provide plenty of comfortable seats in the shade. for the folks. Build in concessions near these seating areas so the folks can spend more money while the kids r on the rides.
